About MeadowFinch
MeadowFinch is an independent publication about the technology, service decisions and day-to-day work behind a modern workplace. From a Technology expert with over a decade of industry experience

MeadowFinch is an independent publication about the technology, service decisions and practical work behind technology in a modern workplace. It is written for people working across end-user computing, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity, security and IT service management as well as Technical Leadership.
Technology announcements are easy to find. It is often harder to understand what a change means once it reaches a real environment, where licensing, support, security, user experience and limited time all have to be considered together. MeadowFinch is a place where I outline my opinions and experience in working through those questions clearly and without turning every subject into a sales pitch.
I write from the perspective of someone who remains heavily hands-on while also being responsible for services, projects and the people delivering them. My work has spanned over a decade within corporate IT functions, from Microsoft 365 environments, managing identity and endpoint protection to leading and managing others to do the same. I want to share my experience and connect with others in the field.
Coverage will include Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, Intune and device management, Conditional Access, endpoint security, service-desk operations, ITSM, automation, professional development and the decisions involved in leading technical services.
The aim is straightforward: useful context, practical experience and a clearer view of what matters.
Articles will distinguish confirmed facts from opinion, link back to useful sources and explain limitations where they exist. I will focus on what can be applied in practice, including what did not work, what required more effort than expected and what I would approach differently next time.
Editorial principles
Every article should leave the reader with context, a practical idea or a clearer decision.
Vendor announcements are a starting point, not the final word. Operational reality matters.
The focus stays on implementation, ownership, support and the people affected by technology.
